The Waiting: An Advent Sermon Series

God's people are no strangers to waiting. The whole Bible is a story, in two-parts, of waiting for God's promises to be fulfilled. It's in this context, that we get perspective for our own lives. As we wait on the Lord, as we live by faith, as we struggle along, we need to be reminded again and again that God is faithful, and that we can bank our lives on His promises. As participants of His Story, we learn how to see our own stories.
