New Sermon Series on the Lord's Prayer

He was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray..."

Jesus' response gave us the Prayer of all prayers - what Thomas Watson called "a heap of massive gold." The Lord's Prayer teaches us to treasure God's glory and to trust Him for our good. These are words put on our lips and in our hearts; all of it spoken in the company of Jesus. As we pray "Our Father" we pray with Jesus and with His people - not to calm our troubled minds but to shake heaven and earth.
