New Sermon Series on the Lord's Prayer

He was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray..."

Jesus' response gave us the Prayer of all prayers - what Thomas Watson called "a heap of massive gold." The Lord's Prayer teaches us to treasure God's glory and to trust Him for our good. As we pray "Our Father" we pray with Jesus and with His people - not to calm our troubled minds but to shake heaven and earth. If you've struggled to pray (we all have), Jesus graciously puts words on our lips and in our hearts - not only to shape our prayer, but to shape our lives.
