How exactly do we follow Jesus together? The answer is both simple and profound: discipling. Mark Dever defines discipling as "deliberately doing spiritual good to someone so that he or she will be more like Christ." The Christian life is the discipled life and the discipling life. Jesus' commission to "make disciples" isn't just a for pastors. It's a calling for every Christian.  

To further encourage this culture of discipleship, we're recommending Mark Dever's Discipling: How to Help Others Follow Jesus. We hope this book will help strengthen those who are already in discipling relationships, and help equip those who aren't to take the next step - for their joy and the good of our brothers and sisters in the church.

But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head—Christ.
