Mission starts with prayer. Jesus told his disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2). God’s mission is to reap a harvest of people who believe on His Son and find eternal life in Him. In a secular age, many Christians can feel like this is a daunting task. What do we say? How do we say it? These are important questions to ask. But we must never underestimate the vital duty of prayer. Starting in June, we will take 3 weeks to explore what the apostle Paul prayed about in connection with the mission to proclaim the gospel. We pray that these sermons will encourage and equip each member of our church to be a faithful ambassador for Christ (2 Cor. 5:20). Don’t miss out!
