Dear Church Family and Friends,
May grace and peace be multiplied to you during this season of great fear and uncertainty. Because of the gospel, we can stand firm as those who have not been given a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment (2 Tim. 1:7).
It is to our heavy dismay that we must cancel our public worship gatherings for the month of March. Out of concern for the public good and respect for the wishes of the Bristol Warren School District, we will not hold services through the remainder of the month. We plan to “re-open” on April 5th.
As Christians, we have a civic responsibility to honor our government and cooperate with those in authority, all for the good of our larger community. May we love one another well, serve our neighbors, and creatively extend relief to all of those impacted by this pandemic.
“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:9-10 CSB).
