Advent at Mount Hope Church

20 November 2022

This Advent we’ll be taking a deep look at Matthew’s genealogy of Christ (Matt.1:1-17). As we reflect upon Jesus’ family tree, we are confronted with the story of God’s grace – a story of wanderers, kings, and exiles yearning for the day of “God with us” (Matt.1:23). Advent places us in that unfolding story of God’s patient work, teaching us to see God with us now and teaching us to yearn for the day when Christ will come again. Below you’ll find our preaching schedule, as well as other helpful resources to orient your heart during the Advent season.
